Bad management/operator, complete lack of integrity and false advertisement... Their website and app still states that free breakfast is available and included. I travel quite a bit, and in the past few months I experienced one of the following options at other properties: - To-go bag prepared with breakfast instead of the buffet (more common at this tier) - Notification in advance that there will be no breakfast. - It also happens that properties put updates on their website that breakfast is not available. This approach is usually followed when there is a renovation/closed pool etc. going on so they can inform potential guests. This property failed to do either. You cannot just give excuses and blame it on "unprecedendent situations" when most of your peers figured this out months ago. It's especially frustrating that this is a well known issue based on the number of negative reviews and the reaction of the front-desk associate just made things worse. She didn't even say sorry or resonate with my concerns, but agreed to provide my feedback to management (which clearly didn't happen or the management doesn't care). On the positive side the hotel is new and at a good location. My room was clean although some of the towels had hair on it. To people complaining about the expensive parking: just walk 50 yards as there is 10 overnight parking across the street.

Love the hotel and location. Wish when we called they would have told us a lot of businesses were closed. Valet parking was 45.00 a night which is way to high. But all in all we loved it! Minion

Large multi-story hotel, rooms were clean and comfortable. Short walk to downtown, close to arena and symphony.

I love staying at Marriott's and this is a great property but they have some major challenges with their clientele. Nashville is an awesome city that people have fun in but on multiple nights we were confronted by drunk aggressive guests in the hotel. We were physically threatened and accused of a crime by some drunk people. These issues were brought to the attention of management and security (who confirmed that certain guests were a problem the night before but didn't include their interaction in their night report (11/12) but not enough was done. Overall, it's a really great property though. 95% of the stay was perfect. The jacuzzi/pool area is awesome and much nicer than Margaritaville next door. Also, this property still uses single use plastic containers for their shampoo/conditioner and it's not Tea Tree (Paul Mitchell). I'd love to see them make more strides towards getting away from the plastics. The essence/fragrance in the 1st floor/lobby area is really bad. I highly recommend changing that. Pure chemicals. Tips: - You don't need to pay 30 a night valet!! You have to walk a few blocks but you'll find free street parking. We did this and it saved us almost 100 on the trip. Go to where Lea Avenue meets 2nd Avenue and you'll find spaces on the street. You can leave your car overnight with no issues. - The Trundle bed doesn't seem like much for a bed but it's actually a good option. - There's no lock on the bathroom door just FYI. In conclusion, if you want to avoid a hotel full of drunk people you should probably spend a bit more for a higher level Marriott.. This is a great property but you run the risk of coming across a lot of intoxicated people. If you're on a budget though this is an awesome hotel with some small risks. -

Great place to stay, very secure and clean. I also lost my jacket, and the valet and front desk went out of their way to find my jacket for me. Exceptional service.

I love marriott hotels in general. But this one had 3 of them inside one building. It was clean, conveniently located to brodway st. And is only a valet parking. I didnt have to worry about losing keys, or nothing happing to it. The only negative thing i have is Sunday when we checked out i called 15 min before hand so the car/ suv would be pulled around, and it wasnt. I get it was a busy time, but no one came up and asked if we were waiting for 5 min. Other than that everything was great. Would definitely stay here again. I wasnt able to have food from the hotel since i was out and about/ and covid. But the 6th floor balcony had some great views and the pool was heated and offered more great views. And it was quiet and a great place to clear your mind
