What a great little spot in Barnstable Village. Grabbed a couple breakfast items the past few weeks and was very happy with both. The Freshy breakfast bowl had a sizable mix of fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, baby spinach and softly cooked scrambled eggs, which so many places really don’t do right. The breakfast burrito was similarly tasty with tomatoes, avocado, cheddar and a spicy aïoli wrapped in a light, grilled flour tortilla. Home fries are delicious. My wife loved her veggie sandwich and fresh fruit cup. Anxious to try their smoothies and more items.

Amazing food, amazing place, amazing customer service, honesty! The restaurant itself is very welcoming, the decoration and setting is warm and homey. The food is delicious, everything is! The plates are beautifully served, it’s all really delicious! Customer service is perfect, every server or staff member treated us nicely and kindly. They definitely go above and beyond to make sure the customers are comfortable and happy. I highly recommend Buttercup for any occasion, a birthday celebration, a friends go-out, family occasion, etc. The menu is also very diverse, for meat lovers, for vegetarians...It’s a very creative menu, too. When you read it, everything seems so tasty!! I also appreciate that from your table you can see them cooking. Not all restaurants have that, in my opinion is great because one can feel good seeing the chef and cooks are clean and everything... We’ve also been at their sister restaurant, The Farmhouse. We feel the same way about The Farmhouse! Usually, we order a few ‘small plates’ to begin with and then we get a main plate and also have a drink or two. The prices are reasonable for such an amazing time at Buttercup!
I visit this place a lot since I work close by. I love how their service is always good and they keep the place well kept regularly. Rates are reasonable and they serve sizeable portions.

Very well kept and accessible restaurant. They offer generous portions and for affordable prices. I loved the meals very much and the waiters were super personal and explanatory. Recommended.
