Dr. Callahan has an abundance of knowledge from various disciplines, which allows her to help patience with a variety of \tools\ to resolve issues and improve health. Dr. Callahan is an excellent listener, and consistently follows up to assure a given situation was resolved, and to assure the proposed solution actually gets to the oot\ of the situation. The combination of her kindness, genuine compassion, and sincerity, coupled with her intellect and resources make Dr. Callahan an incredibly effective health and healing professional. I recommend her without qualification, and urge others to try her services for 6-9 months, you will definitely see and feel a positive difference.

For many years I was suffering from chronic headaches. I decided to try acupuncture as a pain management method. During my initial exam Orla took her time to ask as many questions as possible regarding my health status in order to plan tailored treatment specifically targeting my individual needs. The atmosphere during session is soothing and relaxing. I had a total of 4 visits in a little over a month. After the first session I felt energized, after the second my sleep pattern improved and headaches were less frequent with reduced severity and were no longer an issue. Now after the fourth visit I really feel great, my body and mind had a great response to the treatment. Orla also showed me few very simple but highly effective pressure points for maintaining good overall health. I would highly recommend Orla Callahan for anyone looking for an experienced, highly skilled licensed acupuncturist.
Orla has the gift and talent for healing others that is undeniable. A year ago I was new to acupuncture and luckily Orla has been my guide and therapist in this unexplored area of healing and healthcare. Firstly, Orla has superior knowledge and expertise to share with me about health, nutrition, treatment, and the arts history. She knows body and soul and how to get it all in balance. I trust this knowledge, and I trust Orla’s advice and views. Secondly, Orla has the calming presence that I need. I have a long medical history and avoid clinicians whenever possible. I experience none of this dread before I go to Orla, rather, I look forward to my time with her. Lastly, I have arthritis in my hip. It hurts. Orla knew exactly what to do as the pain has really lessened! Amazing thing to me! How awful would the pain be without Orla’s acupuncture care!? I don’t want to ever have to know. I have been accosted with thousands of needles injecting something into me or sucking something out of me. I felt hesitant to start acupuncture and be “stuck” with needles again, but due to Orla and her amazing grace and gentle touch, I am hesitant to ever have to stop treatment and deal with that sharp hip pain again One last note: Orla has started new treatment to increase my appetite. I am grateful everyday to have discovered Orla Callahan’s Practice. I was undergoing extensive chemo surgery and radiation when I met her and she helped me so much with managing my fears, my stress and anxiety. Her treatments helped my body process through all the healing I had to do. She helped manage my body aches, nausea, fatigue, and gave me mental clarity and energy to get through my darkest days. She is lovely to talk to and she knows what to do each and every time I come in. She has trained with Grand Master Nan Lu and uses ancient Chinese traditions. I always leave her office feeling relaxed, renewed, and grounded. She is truly a Gift. I’m forever Grateful for her talent and hard work.
I began working with Orla at the recommendation of a physician for severe Adrenal Fatigue. My most recent tests have shown that my adrenals are now functioning at close to optimum. My new physician said that the acupuncturist deserved great kudos. In addition to the great job she is a very kind and caring person who takes genuine interest in her patients overall well being.
