My boyfriend and I went here over Valentine's weekend and we absolutely loved it! There was so much to see and read. You definitely want to give yourself at least 2 hours to go through everything. We weren't able to see everything because we were on a time frame, but we really want to go back again. So much information.

I have no interest in horse racing, but after visiting this Museum during their kids' day I must say I am very impressed! The museum is bright and cheerful, with attractive exhibits that are of interest to kids and adults alike. The building's architecture assists with the enjoyment of the exhibits. There is an entire kids area devoted to horseplay, so to speak :-) but there are also dedicated days where kids visit for free, they have crafts and snacks, and you can even meet a real life horse! I enjoyed my time here and will be visiting again.

Wonderful facility sure to meet the curiosity of casual fans to the pilgrimage of the most passionate and astute thoroughbred aficionados. Great art, sculptures, historical race trophies, videos and hands on displays, not to mention the Racing Hall of Fame. The life size starting gate is my personal favorite. The Museum offers hours of enjoyment to anyone who has an affection for The Horse.

The museum had plenty of off-street parking and is easily accessible. It's a beautiful place - very spacious and well-maintained. There are a lot of historical items to see and a lot of neat things, like the starting gate and a real-life display of the layers of a racetrack. It's also right across the street from Saratoga Racetrack, so its very convenient.

Place looked great, but was not open. Shrine to sea biscuit was on my list of oddities to see... So and saw it. Very nice looking museum. Hopefully I will get to go back when it is open.
