The world's best Air Force museum! Huge location with every major military aircraft from the Wrights Brothers to the Stealth Bomber. There's a fantastic rocket and space shuttle section, and an area devoted to space exploration where you can touch a real moon rock. I loved it here!

I cannot believe how awesome this museum is and that it's free! You absolutely owe it to yourself to check this out if you're in the area. You could spend all day viewing all the different aircraft and displays they have. The size of some of these aircraft are just staggering and the stories behind them are amazing. I'm already looking forward to going back when we can once again walk through some of the different aircraft.

As the largest military aviation museum in the world, I had high expectations when coming here. I ended up leaving with my expectations fulfilled and exceeded. The staff helped me in the beginning by guiding me and showing me a map (which I have included photos of in my review). The museum is organized into eras and battles and a few of them are as follows: Early Years, WWII, Korean War, Southeast Asia War, Cold War, Missile Gallery, Space Gallery, Research and Developmental, and Presidential Gallery. These are all divided and everything is clearly marked. Admission is completely free and the whole museum is temperature controlled in the summer and winter. There are several bathrooms spread throughout the museum. If you were to completely walk through and read everything in this museum, it would take you many days. If you’re not looking too much into details, it can be done in just a couple hours. There is a lot of walking, but everything is wheelchair accessible. The museum is very clean and it is a fascinating place to learn about the history of the United States. There are guided tours available and there is also a gift shop that has many interesting items.

Awesome awesome museum. Unfortunately since the whole covid thing.... Slot of stuff has changed. Presidential planes that you used to walk through you can not now. Cargo planes. Also. There's a lot of stuff to see. Hard to see everything in only a day. Well worth the trip though.
