This is my husband's home town. Pretty decent place with a cute downtown. A lot of school/town pride as one would expect from a smaller place. Most people are really nice and neighborly. Lots of churches.

Navasota is a picturesque little town in Grimes county Texas. The town is proud of its antiquity and boasts many historic landmarks. If you are fond of historic Victorian and Queen-Anne houses, Navasota is well worth a Sunday drive. The city radiates warmth and charm and I thoroughly enjoy the scenery every time I visit. If you are from Houston, just take US-290 to Hempstead then go north on Highway 6.
