This is a nice pier. I went here while I’m as in Chicago and was satisfied with my experience. I got to the pier and walked around, going through everything there. I went to the McDonald’s, Build-A-Bear Workshop, the ride which goes up and down like the Power Tower at Cedar Point (I don’t know what they’re called), and I walked around the lake, which looked nice. I also went inside a gift shop and looked around before leaving, having bought a stuffed animal polar bear. After I did that, I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this pier five stars because it has lots of stuff to do.

You could easily spend a whole day at Navy Pier!!! There are so many fun and interesting things to do. You can take a ride in the famous Ferris Wheel, walk through the Chicago Children's Museum, or just walk around. The botanical Garden is absolutely stunning. Billy Goat Tavern is a must try burger place on the Pier. One of my favorite things to do is take a boat tour. If you are up for some fun and thrill I suggest the Speed Boat Tour. If you want to see more of Chicago the Architecture Tour is amazing!!
Music playing, alcohol drinks, all restaurants was open on the walking strip, boat rides was available. Only thing Navy pier had for kids was a maze and a one minute speed race tagging as many one color as you can (Atomic Rush). Navy Pier also had a plant house with fountains in it. (Navy Pier had the Ferris wheel, the Merry go round, and the Virtual Reality - Virtual Rush: Chicago - Navy Pier was Closed.). We took a boat ride (Shoreline sight seeing) to see downtown Chicago and the history of it. ( If you get the boat tickets online, it will be cheaper than getting it right from the boat at Navy Pier.). Navy Pier parking was 29 all day..The view is amazing. Looking at the water and Downtown Buildings. Outdide Navy pier, across the street from Nsvy Pier you can rent bikes. Across the street from the restaurant (Casa Margarita)(580 E. Illinois) you can also rent bike carriage, but the man that rides you around charges 20 per person, per mile. Whoa. We were a family of 4.. We ate at Casa Margarita after walking through Navy Pier, kids were tired and hungry. There was seating outside and inside and the tables were 6ft from eachother. Prices on the menu were cheap and affordable considering we are in Downtown Chicago.
Used to work nearby and Navy Pier was the perfect place to run away and hide during my lunch break in the tranquil atrium like indoor garden/water fountains year around. very beautiful atmosphere if you enjoy light-hearted energy and vibes. It's family-oriented/friendly.
We love the Navy Pier! Whenever we visit Chicago, we can't get enough of it. Things are a little over priced there but there are too many ways you can have fun! We went on a sail boat and it was a very nice experience!
