Dr. Starr is a prosthodontist who cares about the well-being of his patients. His expertise is such that we have entrusted him with our care for many years and at every visit, we feel confident and secure that the very best is being done for our teeth. Dr. Starr is very thorough and renders a thoughtful diagnosis after considering the challenges his patients' teeth present. My husband and I feel we are in excellent hand with Dr. Starr and his outstanding staff.

I can’t say enough good things about the care I received from Dr. Amelia Orta, but I’ll give it a shot. After experiencing a significant amount of erosion from a decade-long bed-time tea habit, I was keen to find a solution that would preserve as much of my dental structure as possible – no bridges or implants. Dr. Orta created a restoration plan that worked perfectly for me. She explained the onlay process and took the time to answer all my questions. I felt comfortable and most important – cared for – during each step in the procedure. I couldn't be happier with the results! From my first contact with super-professional Shelvia, to my interactions with Dr. Orta’s very pleasant colleague, Kimberly, my experience was absolutely first rate. I would highly recommend Dr. Orta without reservation. She may not share the name, but she is clearly a “STAR” in this practice.

Not only is he extremely knowledgeable and supremely competent as a prosthodontist, he is genuinely concerned about the patient's best interest and has great integrity. It was of utmost importance to me to find the most trustworthy prosthodontist, and I definitely found him in Dr. Starr. An absolute gentleman and a truly decent human being. The best Dentist in entire DC area. Dr. Starr is fun, well educated, nice, great sense of humor and very skillful. His attention to details is truly amazing. He is just the Dentist of Dentists. Highly recommend Dr. Starr for making your smile fantastic and your mouth healthy.
I went to an ophthalmologist yesterday afternoon and as I entered the doctor's office her first words to me were \You have a beautiful smile\. Yes, and this is all Dr. Starr's work. Our cooperation started four and a half years ago when I presented myself with a missing front tooth and no good options from my current dentist at the time. Dr. Starr assumed the situation and presented me with a plan to replace the missing tooth as well as work on adjacent teeth to give me a radiant smile. Dr. Starr is the best dentist that I have known. He stands by his work and is extremely personable and very approachable. He and the rest of the office team make going to the dentist a fun experience. I will never change dentist and recommend Dr. Starr very highly.
