Love the village too bad it was cold and cloudy today but the Turkey stole the show. Coming back in the spring

I really enjoyed my trip this historic village which I think is a very apt description of this little complex. They had a bunch of log cabin like buildings not just one or two. they actually had people dressed in period clothing working some of the stores of the village like the blacksmith and the general store. the main draw is to go through the different log cabins and see what they were like read about their history look at some of the period appropriate furniture and decor and have a chance to see what it was like to live in that time. They also have a lot of animals which I personally enjoyed. Turkey's chickens pigs and ducks. you can actually ride the railroad at nelsonville station to the village and I think that helped with it feeling old-timey.

Great little village! They're kettle corn is awesome. We took the train out of Nelsonville for a scenic tour and that was a stop on the ride.

This little town on my old Hocking Technical college back in the day 1998 to be exact. Now here 20 years later and it is still doing well.

Original log structures from across the county are set up nicely as a small village with period furniture.
