This review is mostly for the billing company Neurobehavioral Associates utilizes. They do not know how to handle billing. There were denials in July of 2019, they didn't send me a bill until December for the FULL fee. They refused to contact the insurance and get it straightened out. Told me that if insurance didn't pay I would be responsible for the entire amount and that Neurobehavioral Assoc will not make any adjustments. Which means they would receive 4,400 for a service that if insurance processes it, they only receive about half of that. So I am having to do their job and handle the billing with the insurance. HMS is the billing company they use, but it's a shame that Neurobehavioral utilizes such a poorly run company to manage their billing which only causes issues for their clients. I would recommend an office that doesn't utilize these kinds of practices.

They performed a 3000 test on my daughter, whom has learning disabilities, without confirming she had the means to pay for the test. Being a licensed doctor who specializes in this area, you would assume they would have confirmed her ability to pay any balance due not covered by insurance. Thank you for the legal bill, which has been grossly inflated with interest and additional fees. Neuro - please confirm your patients have the financial means to cover these tests. Remember, they are there because they have disabilities and may not understand the terms you are explaining.
