This practice is terrific! Dr. Bassani is not only an excellent surgeon but he combines his expertise with a willingness to listen and discuss. Very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patient to help them with their health issues. Also, the staff is very friendly and professional. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes when I arrive for an appointment. HIGHLY recommend!

Very pleasant experience for my first time. Wonderful first impression. Dr. Sattar is very knowledgeable and I came out of the visit more informed and assured about the steps forward for treatment. I would recommend for sure.

I finally found a back surgeon whom I trust! Dr. Bassani listens thoroughly, explains thoroughly, doesn’t rush you right into surgery, gives you more conservative options but let you know he’s always there if you need him. The back surgery that I need it’s a lot more involved than my first one. Hindsight 2020 I probably wouldn’t be in this situation if I had gone to him first! He’s a neurosurgeon and he seems so down to earth and humble. It’s a very rare thing to find that in a surgeon I’ve worked with them for over 10 years in an operating room.

Im only 28 and had injured my back and had been fighting with my insurance for months after trying every conservative approach with no relief. As a nurse, I need my back strong and when nothing helped surgery was my last hope. Marissa and Dr. Grossman fought for me day after day and got my surgery approved. I’m now post op and on my way to a full recovery and eventually back to a job I love. No one wants surgery, but when it’s your last chance at getting your life back you want a team that has your back (literally)and they 1000% do.

I’m very happy with Neurosurgeons of NJ. The front desk had very helpful people, and Dr. Sattar is an exceptional doctor. He even came out to the waiting room to get me and my husband for my appointment. I’m more than happy to work with them in the future.

The staff has been very helpful in preparing for my visit. They sent out the forms to fill out ahead of time. Dr. Sattar came out to the waiting area to escort me to his office. Dr. Sattar is quite amicable, patient and competent. I felt immediate trust in his expertise. He even drew diagrams on a dry erase board to illustrate my issue. All in all, a good experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Sattar. Amy was the office person I worked with. She is quite friendly, helpful and encouraging.
