Great location! Lots to do in the area, or you can walk their beautiful grounds, or you can stay in the well-furnished, comfortable room & enjoy the view from the window! Very welcoming staff!

My husband, a disabled, 88 yr. old veteran was talked into trading a Wyndham Vacations Timeshare for Fairfield Harbour timeshare. He agreed to this because he was told the trade would prevent him from paying a maintenance fee. The representative assured him that he would have no further maintenance fees with the trade once the paperwork was completed. My husband was told to apply for a RCI credit card to pay monthly payments for the timeshare until the paperwork was completed, which was to not exceed four months. My husband did everything he was told to do but the payments never stopped. I contacted Fairfield Harbour and advised that my husband was lied to and he wanted out. Fairfield had the deed re-deeded to them. They said the payments would stop when they got their deed. That was another lie. My husband has been summoned for the payments. Fairfield never refunded my husband any money and RCI has sent his name to an Attorney's office for collection.

First night, killed 2 large cockroaches. Took one of them to the front desk in the AM and was told orkin sprays every 2 weeks and they get more active after spraying. So i guess they are a continuous problem that they can't get rid of. And we should just sleep in beds that cockroaches are running around on for the week. After a 10.5 hr ride to get here I'm living out of my car for the week. Been here at least a half dozen times over the years before resort management group took over and never saw anything like this...Didn't have the option of ZERO stars but that's what I'm giving.

First let me say that this is the most cheapest run place we have stayed. Staff is very uptight and rude. Had to argue to get three key cards. Coffee was old in the room and the upstairs shower had no hot water. Called to ask for cloths detergent and was informed that we had to purchase from them when any other Wyndham resort we stayed all of this was provided. They make sure you have enough cleaning supplies on hand though.Make you have a yellow card to get into the pool for towels but never had any then make you sign in.There is nothing posted in plain view or anywhere at front entrance to pool room regarding alcohol. I had taken a beer with me to the pool and had the older female employee get very rude with me saying that it’s plainly posted when in fact after a second look it is not. Beware if you aren’t uptight and like freedom while on vacation to not stay anywhere with resort management group especially in New Bern NC.

Thank you for Tuesday afternoon wine tasting with Cami from Savi's wine shop at the resort. I met new people from the area and learned more about Fairfield Harbour I now call home. I look forward to more activities and meeting new people.
