Great in every season. Miles of trails, much of it boardwalks, with different delights on every path. Our pups love sniffing their way around Crosswinds.

Great place to hike or cross country ski. It is a huge park with lots of woods plus large ponds, boardwalks, and open areas. The trails are well marked, but no paper maps were available - I wish I had taken a picture of the big map posted at the parking lot.

Amazing! Views are great, trails are neat and clean, and there's plenty of places to rest along the way. NO bicycles, but leashed dogs are welcome, and there's also a horse riding trail. We walked the Bald Eagle trail (1.8 miles) with a seven year old and a nine year old, and it was manageable with a few water breaks. Trails go up to eight miles.

Perfect interface with nature. Peaceful place to begin or end your day. Several options to walk on trails. Boardwalk guides you through an otherwise impassible marsh, getting you close and personal with Mother Nature. Horse trails, too. Dogs allowed on leash. Excellent location for prom or grad pics. My wife is a photo bug, and Crosswinds offers an infinite setting for amazing photos.

The kids and I needed some fresh air today! I have heard about this place from friends, and I'm glad I chose to come here! Right away we seen a Bald Eagle! The marsh was beautiful and there was so much wildlife! Ducks, geese, swans, eagles, hawks, all types of birds. I'm sure if we came during summer/spring time we would have seen much more wildlife! The decks and walks need minor fixes here and there, but nothing that hinders the experience! We had a great nature walk! (If you have small children I would suggest bringing a stroller, a child could easily slip under the railings into the water.)
