I was overtaxed for the past few years. Upon investigating found they had increased the square footage of my house for no legitimate reason. I have not made any changes on the house since I had it built. Its been 3 mos. & I followed up with the county tax office. No corrections have been made. This whole city has to be overhaul of its local govt for poor management.

The robbery and extortion you are subjected to by these people will leave you feeling hopeless and powerless to a system designed to bleed you of every penny possible. But hey, they’re really nice

One star and that is too many. I tried to look up property values on Coll St because my property magically increased in value 50% from last year. I only got property values for businesses on E and W Coll St. very poor

I had a hearing scheduled with the appraisal review board. At the informal meeting prior to the hearing, I gave them nice color prints of the photos to present at the hearing. To my surprise, at the hearing my photos were shown in low quality black and white images on the projector and the board members stated that they can only see minor problems. I was trying to tell them that the photos that I gave them were nice color photos that show the evidence well, not the black and white low quality photos. They did not even want to hear half of the sentence of what I said. I even had the photos saved in a USB card to give to them and they even refused to take it. They don't want to review good evidence that I want to present. I wonder if they intentionally do that to mask my evidence. I feel the unfairness and the discrimination.
