We're from Michigan. I had happened across an ad to check out some local archeology here so we came to check it out. We did not expect a tour and history lesson of the area. It was totally awesome to see how the local government is beginning to make changes for water conservation. Texas has a crazy long way to go before they're doing anything Green. But this community is doing its part. And the archeology was pretty awesome too. We got to see some of the artifacts they've been finding in the area. It was explained how a small museum is in the planning to pay hommage to the ancestors that had settled here so long ago.

This gem is still under construction, and it's a great place to take peaceful walk through native plants, see a natural spring, and learn about sustainable landscaping practices. Fun and educational!
