I rented a home from New Braunfels Leasing for 7.5 years and was a model tenant. Every 6 months the leasing agent would do a walk through of my home and it was always spotless and in great condition. Last month, October 2020, I was notified that my rent was being increased by 245 a month. In April 2020, I had asked for a rent decrease of only 20 percent due to my employment situation during the pandemic...I was refused the decrease. In October 2020, the owner had the foundation leveled and two weeks later, I get a letter stating my rent increase. During the 7.5 years I was in the home, I would request repairs that were delayed, sometimes for years. The AC flooded the home repeated times and the owners finally repaired it five years later. I made repairs throughout the home and outside the home on many occasions, never asking for a dime. This leasing company does not care about their tenants or “go to bat” for the tenant in the face of enormous rent increases or ignored repairs. Avoid this company, you will be happier in the long run.

My husband and I have stayed here the last few years with a great experience. We always stay in c212. This trip our stay was not up to a 5 star review. I would have liked it namely to be clean and somewhat updated. At 300 bucks a night plus a 100 cleaning fee -that it would be just that-CLEAN! I don't expect perfect but for the price we paid at least be properly dusted, swept, mopped and trash picked up. These are my complaints. Took my shoes off at the door, walking into the kitchen the floor felt gritty and sticky, 15 minutes in my feet were black. In the kitchen- 3rd plate in cabinet was covered with stuck on food, 2nd bowl food stuck on food, toaster oven full of crumbs and food smeared on top and front of the door, grease on stove, grease splatters on knives, dirty towel under sink, broke ice tray in freezer, food splatter on wall, knobs on stove had something brown on it. Living room mantle looks cluttered with wires and cords for the satellite box and no directions on how to operate the tv, ceiling fans were blade covered in dust, 1st floor balcony outdoor light didn't work. Upstair master bedroom: Used soap in drawer under tv, dust fan blades, balcony has no seating and had not been swept, bathroom mirror was streaked, and shower doors streaked. With the covid19 pandemic I would have expected standards to be raised, not lowered. Cosmetic wise (which is not a deal breaker) the decorations and appliances are completely outdated and random with no actual theme. Just mismatched pictures thrown on the wall. I had to run the dryer 3 times to get my clothes dry. When my vacation is over I would like to dispute the cleaning fee. Location is all this place had going for it this trip. Disappointed that I am unable to give this place anything above 2 stars.

Brook deals with our rental she has always been great. We however would not recommend this agency at all. 3 years and 27038.00 later we were given a surprise 30 day ‘intent not to renew lease’ after complying about an ongoing issue that was never fixed. Needless to say I did not find anywhere fast enough and 4 days after we were supposed to have moved Curt, the owner showed up at our door shaking telling us we need to get out and basically wouldn’t leave till I was balling. So the staff is great the company/owner not so much

Absolutely horrible customer service during \after hours\. Constantly feel like I'm given the run around and don't know who I can rely on. Haven't had AC in the past two days and was told it was fixed. Am I not a customer (tenant)? Am I not due some respect? Turn off your AC and tell me how damn pleased you are!

I have come in a few times and found Curt & Karina to be very professional and friendly. I recommend them if you're looking for a locally-owned resort rental or property management company. I sensed that they truly care about their customers.
