Always a great place to hang out. Parking is hard to find on weekends.

This tube chute is very scary. A little girl got stuck under all of the tubes coming in and got separated from her mother. I scraped my leg, and me and my sister got separated. Don’t get hurt. Don’t come here.

I came to this tube Chute many years ago when I was a teenager.... honestly I don't think it's changed much at all. I would like to see them make a few changes. After going through the Chute if you want to get out and do it again it can be really hard to get over to the opposite side and up stairs. If you miss the stairs you have to go way down and walk back. The first set of stairs are rusted metal and are all beat up so be sure to watch your step there. It's fun and doesn't cost a lot per person to go through it but to get your money's worth you would have to go through it several times. Last time we went to the Chute my youngest daughter and I got stuck in the vortex between the dam and where the Chute comes out. It is really difficult to get out of that area because the water just swirls around there. They had two lifeguards that sat there and watched us struggle.... they in no way helped us at all. I guess if you're floating the river and you do the tube Chute and keep going down the river it would be a better experience.

So fun... very affordable except for the paid parking was 20 but considering that we didn't have to pay any fees for being at the park and floating on the river it was great. We bought our own tubes walked up River a little bit. In floated down and then we were able to get out and just continue doing it. The flow of the river was gentle and the water was a very nice comfortable temperature. The tube Chute was great for my thirteen-year-old daughter.

Kids loved it with Dad and Grandpa. Right now there's construction on the bridge right after, so can't keep floating right after. We did it last year, same time and they liked it too. Just plan ahead in case they've shut down an area to do the tube chute and then drive to another park of the river to float the rest, as the case may be.

Fun times. Can be crowded during the holidays so come early to get a parking spot close by.

Used to ride this all the time without a tube or life jacket. Key is not to panic and don't fight the current. Just enjoy the ride and you'll pop up on the other side of the river! A lot of fun memories!
