A very popular Rutgers community Chinese-take out and dine-in restaurant that is relatively true to the roots - a hole-in-the-wall type of restaurant, as well. I know the owner personally. With pandemic, there may be limitations nowadays. I have been going to this restaurant for years since early 2010. Relatively decent food quality, taste, flavor, as well as affordability. Street parking and metered parking only. You may be able to find a parking lot but it may be metered parking or pay at the kiosk. Family-owned business. Pretty authentic, I would say. They also have a Chinese menu! Portion sizes are pretty great for the price, as well. Worth your bucks! Their interior design overall is pretty old and outdated, nonetheless. Though, there is plenty of seating with tables. No booths. Yet, this may be their style of a resemblance of Cantonese style and tradition just like over in Southern China with the old-fashioned chairs and tables and the ugly carpet. Their bubble teas are of endless, limitless sorts of flavors and styles - hot or cold/chilled/iced, shaved iced, with milk, just the tea, tapioca bubbles, jelly bits, etc. The one drawback is the lack of parking on the streets as Rutgers campus and downtown area tends to be pretty busy and packed with student commuters or students with a vehicle who come to the downtown area

Love love LOVE this place! Cheap, great-quality food; and you can tell they're good especially because you can see older people consistently coming back! My soup in this picture was I think 8, and the bok choy with garlic side (huge serving! totally scratched my 'bok choy' itch!) was 5.75. Definitely would recommend. Right down the road is Surreal Creamery - if you're craving something sweet after, they have decent deals on ice cream & bubble tea (they have taro ice cream!).

One of my favorite Chinese spots in New Brunswick! Everything is really good. The shrimp wonton soup and bubble tea are my favorites!
