Great selection of craft beer and spiced ciders. Hot roast beef sandwiches were messy but very tasty. Pulled pork was just OK. Maple walnut ice cream was very good. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Overall, unique experience in the historical district. A little overpriced at 63 for lunch. Otherwise would have rated 5 stars .

Loved it! Great beer selection, shepherds pie, fish & chips, and bread pudding just to awesome for words! Enormous portions, brought half of everything home!

I decided to take the wife here as it's Delaware's oldest Bar/ Tavern! We could not have enjoyed it more! From the great atmosphere, to the plethora of bottled beers they have to drink there or take with you (they do growlers & crowlers too), to the scrumptious cuisine all of it was perfect! The Shepard's Pie was incredible. The Bunker Hill Beef sandwich was very well prepared and the fries that we got with it were made perfectly too! Can't say enough good things about this place!

Friendly staff and the food was delicious. I ordered the Pilgrim's Feast and it had some of the best turkey I've had in a while. The cranberry compote was out of this world as well! Incredible atmosphere that took me back to Colonial America.

I’ll go as far to say that it’s some of the best Belgian beer selection on the East Coast! While the tap list isn’t as long as, say, Monk’s in Philly, their selection is more discerning, in my opinion. They consistently get some of the greatest beers in the world on tap. The setting is very cozy, and the food is quite good. Simple and hearty. It’s the type of bar that’s perfect for taking the chill off on a cold winter’s day.
