This review is a year old so things may have changed since. I went here with a friend the employees at first seemed very welcoming. Seating was fast our server came quickly and the food shortly followed. My food was okay. Oily and nothing very special. My friends food in her words was unbearable. So unbearable that she winded up ordering a second dish and that wasn’t much better. After paying for our food I decided to tip while my friend did not. She was dissatisfied with the service and the quality of food she received and wanted to leave. Within seconds of us standing up to put our coat on a short skinny male came and took the Merchant copies and walked to the register. He immediately came back demanding that we pay more for tip and stated that it was a NY state law to pay a minimum of 20% tip. Obviously when we challenged him on his lack of knowledge of state laws and his poor display of professionalism he sucked his teeth and said “just get out leave.” We left stunned. So again this was a while ago and I thought I put up a review already but that seems to have disappeared. Just enlightening others to my experience here.

A comfortable place to dine and with a very HK feel. All items ordered tastes great. Kids liked the pork gyoza the most. A place I would return to for casual dining in a regular basis if I live in the area.
The food is good, Unfortunately the Bathroom is Always dirty, that is a complete turnoff for me.
OMFG What an amazing place!!! I’ve been here 6 times in the last 2 weeks! One of my personal training clients recommended this place (because she knows I LOVE Asian food and culture) and I literally can’t get enough AT ALL. The sea food pan fried noodles are BOMB. She told me to get the lobster version but unfortunately they don’t sell it anymore. But the seafood version is amazing. Now let me talk about that French Toast. Jesus Christ all might I could eat that all day everyday. Definitely without a doubt try the French toast; regular or pea nut butter are BOTH ADDICTING !!! I love this place and the manager who is there is so dam cool and chill. This has become one of my favorite places to be addicted to lol major itis every time !
My 3rd time eating here over a 3 year period. Sadly, the experience has not improved much. Sticking to the most recent trip... the pork chop and chicken was crispy, but VERY dry. The sauce was gooey ( too much slurry? ) The shrimp tempura while tasty, was some of the skinnest shrimp I've ever been served. Let me say all issues are with the kitchen, the servers were polite and attentive.
Not much places to choose from for Hong Kong style food. It's decent, not the best but have tried far worst. My go to place in the area. Sushi is not bad either. Good side portion for the price.
I love this place.. I don’t get take out too often, but when I do, the Portuguese pork chop baked cheese over rice really hits the spot..
This place is probably the only restaurant to offer HK style food on 86th - at least that I know of. Therefore, it does get packed during the weekends. Their BAKED minced beef over spaghetti is bomb. Share that with a dish of portuguese chicken over fried rice, and you got yourself a satisfying meal. Compliment your main dish with an ICED HK style Milk Tea.
