We purchased a very large pergola from Country Lane in the summer of 2018. Initially, our experience with Country Lane and Dalton, who was our salesperson was very positive. We opted for the vinyl covered wood because I didn't want the maintenance of the wood. The pergola is beautiful and fits in well with our home and patio. Country Lane even came to our house to take photographs which they put into their printed catalog. In the spring of 2019, I noticed that water would drip from various locations of the pergola days after it had rained. I initially contacted Country Lane about this issue in April of 2019. There was some response from them but then they went quite on me. I then got out my caulk gun and climbed all over the pergola sealing up anywhere I thought water could be getting into the vinyl. This vastly improved the problem but did not fix it entirely. So I kind of let it go for a while because it was only mildly annoying. But then it started to get bad enough for me to take another look at it. This time I removed several of the end caps and discovered that the wood was soaking wet inside the vinyl. Water literally poured out of each one that I opened. While I'm no structural engineer, I don't think that it's a good thing to have a wooden structure encased in plastic and constantly soaking wet. So I reached out to Country Lane again, sending them pictures of the soaked, moldy wood inside the vinyl. After several emails, Michael did respond and came to look at the problem. He promised to discuss with others and get back to me. That was over two weeks ago and Michael hasn't to my email since his visit. I really don't like writing bad reviews, but I feel this is one of my last options. I've given Country Lane more than enough time to respond to this issue. After this, I will likely hire an engineer to come out and give an assessment. If the engineer agrees that the wet wood is an issue, I guess a lawyer is the next step.

We purchased this beautiful Gazebo kit from Country Lane Gazebos. Liz answered all questions and sent samples so that we could choose stain color and shingles. She was a great help and even sent a gift basket.The kit was shipped on time with easy to follow instructions and the kit was complete. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome.
