The food is good but the days and hours could be better like Sunday is soul food day and their closed when families get together and eat it would be nice if they was open for black family tradition

Was able to work with RCK to cater my partner's 40th birthday and they did NOT disappoint. Food was delicious, portions giant (SO many leftovers...not a bad thing of course), and everyone was so friendly! Seriously recommend using RCK catering to anyone! Ribs, chicken/waffles, Mac and cheese, collard greens, spicy crab cakes, and hush puppies were the BOMB!

Very respectful very nice people on the inside food was good the only thing I didn’t like was the banana pudding its was just pudding and cookies I thought it was the real home made banana pudding with real banana instead I got pudding with 4 cookies the rest was pudding \u200d️ I love banana pudding not from here I wouldn’t buy it from here again unless it’s from scratch

I am extremely disappointed by the customer service experience today. I been traveling all over the US and the world for a while and enjoy a good meal anywhere I am welcomed. As soon as I walked in the door, the light skinned bald headed man had so much attitude. I truly believe he is gotten with so much that he knows he can get away with anything he says. His tone was rude, disrespectful and distasteful to put it mildly. I asked some questions such as when do you guys serve Oxtail and his answer was \when she decides to cook it.\ To make the story short when I came back for my food, he ended up telling me to get the hell out of there. I told him that I was a rightful patron that spent 83.00 there and had a right to be there to pick up my food. He kept talking over me and yelling so I told him to call the police if he didn't want me there. I really think this man has mistreated a lot of customers but because he is a bit intimidating, most people decide to ignore him. I would have ignore him until he kicked me out of his store. It is sad that in times such as this, those types of business (Meaning small businesses) should take pride on good customer service so that they can stand the test of time. Customers should be treated with respect. The food is good but not excellent. Catfish could have use better seasoning. Rice gravy was too salty. The red beans and rice was also too salty and wouldn't spend money in the Mac and Cheese even if I went back. I guy like the one they have taking orders should go in the back and not see and talk to any. customers I dont recommend this place at all.

Wow! This place blew my mind! The tilapia was perfectly fried, golden brown, crispy outside and flaky inside. The sweet potatoes were just right, diced, so they were not too big or stringy, flavored perfectly. The mac and cheese even had the golden crust from being baked! It's the little things that matter. It is RCK's simple dishes, perfectly served, that make them stand out. The peach cobbler was just as good, but would have been even better with some crust. This place reminds me of soul food places that I have to fly South for. RCK is a GREAT addition to the MN food scene!
