I went on Kamba Kourse in Audubon Zoo for the first time a few weeks ago. It's a 3-story high ropes course, and while that might normally seem really freaking scary, this was the perfect amount of adrenaline. You're locked into a harness system the entire time, so there's no way you can fall. I felt really safe the entire time. I decided to go all the way to the top at the beginning. I figured if I felt okay doing the ropes obstacles on the top section, the two lower floors would be a breeze. The only obstacle that made me hesitate was the "walk the plank" beam on the very top. You're still harnessed in above, but your feet just have a single plank to walk on, and nothing to hold on to except for your own harness. I walked halfway out and then turned around. (But if you do walk out, you can get a cool view of downtown New Orleans!) They also have a kid's ropes course, which I obviously didn't try, but that makes this a good family outing, besides the fact that it's inside of Audubon Zoo. It's located near the giraffes area, almost to the Swamp section of the zoo.
