Knowing the historical background of this place rocked my soul a bit. It wasn't however until I realized the greatness that now resides there. The food was amazing and the service was even better. Mary (not like the virgin) was an amazing hostess. Sweet, kind, and attentive. Kim was definitely dressed to impress and was a complete sweetheart as well. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles with an amazing honey glaze and the drink Marie Laveau. Highly reccomend both.

This place food was amazing the service was great i had the chicken & waffles with tobasco glaze it was amazing not really spicy just in case had the meat pies great flavor I was there really early so they came in frozen the first time but I told them and they quickly took them back and brought us a fresh batch I didn't even bother me what had just happened the food and the service was so good I stayed in a good mood so I will tell everyone you have to eat at this restaurant I don't think there is one bad thing in their menu!! Go there have the best food in New Orleans
This was my first time coming to This place and I love it I recommend getting the shrimp and grits omg it the best and the seafood platter. And they have the best staff ever
Had dinner here Halloween night before our Haunted History tour. Food was great. Service very slow. Following current Covid protocol. Love the ancient stair case. Across the street from the backside of the court house. Small, sports bar atmosphere. Not our thing.
This is a decent breakfast spot with bottomless mimosas and fantastic service. The seasoning is good. They are known for their po boys and drinks so I'd stick with that. The Waffles also looked good. Just had the omletes which were okay. Alligator sausage was bomb and the fried alligator. Crab cakes were good too
