I got myself the Snake Ear cuff as a Christmas present. This piece is exquisite!!! LOVE IT!!!! It's a little pricey compared to other ear cuffs I've gotten but the material (solid gold) and the detail is more than worth it. This is my very first piece from Porter Lyons but certainly not my last. Also, I got a follow up text from Ashley at Porter Lyons just thanking me for the purchase and asking me how I liked it. Really nice personal touch

The staff here are super friendly!! Some really unique and trendy jewelry. I've been too many jewelry stores and New Orleans and so far this is my favorite. They also cater to men as well for the modern-day fashionable man. Definitely worth checking out if you love jewelry and you are in New Orleans! Also if you enjoy amethyst they have lots of amethyst you can use to decorate your space.

PL founder and designer, Ashley, designed the custom engagement ring of my dreams! The entire process was so warm and inviting with a clear intention to understand what made us special as a couple, which was more than reflected in the totally unique final design. She also communicated so clearly throughout the process and helpfully laid out different options based on her expertise. We used several heirloom gems for my ring and PL made it easy to trust them with their safekeeping! If you’re looking for a custom engagement ring or other special jewelry piece I can’t recommend Porter Lyons enough!! Also doesn’t hurt they have the coolest lil shop in the French Quarter :)

Bought a custom design diamond 14 months ago and a diamond just fell out and got lost. Quality was poor in the gold coloring at beginning and I thought that was the worst of it but this is much more heartbreaking and angering. Avoid buying here. Update/ sent ring back and said it was not a manufacturing error and prong was broken which a jeweler in my town confirmed as I knew, was not the case. Porter Lyon took weeks with my ring in their possession to address the ring then wanted 200 to fix it. The whole affair was awful. Had them send it back to get fixed locally.
