I keep a simple 20 gallon tank with a canister filter, but over the past couple of years I've added live ocean floor, rubble and coralline rock from Salty Bottom to bolster the tank. I now have tunicates, cup corals, snails and fan worms have survived over a year in the tank. The live ocean floor is the best looking substrate I've ever seen.
Loved the purchase!!! Everything came overnighted and was alive! Super easy instructions. One item they didn’t have on stock which was the cucumber and they substituted a flame scallop for it. That’s the only item out of the 85 clean up crew I wish I would have been offered something different. In general they don’t do well or live long in aquariums unless you can target feed them. This is impossible because I haven’t seen it since the day it went in. They are beautiful but you’ll never see it and I don’t believe it offers much in terms of cleanup crew. But overall I loved everything and will be buying again from them
Awesome experience with Sandy Bottom Reef Company! Fish and Hermit Crabs came on time when promised and we're healthy and are doing great! Prices are also extremely reasonable. Would recommend them to anyone looking for anything saltwater related. You won't be sorry.
