What a beautiful park! It is so serene and calm. You can see both the Atlantic and the Intercoastal Waterway. And it wasn't crowded at all. Of course it is only late February. The only bad thing was the parking. There is definitely not enough. When speaking to others, we learned it is not uncommon to wait an hour to 1 1/2 hours just for a parking spot! I know it's a nude beach but that is ridiculous to have to wait that long to park.

Visit to Apollo Beach found the federal Park at the end of the highway in the New Smyrna Beach area. Exiting the car and walking on the beach walking South cape Canaveral and the launch pads were clearly visible. Wonderful sand, and I'm sure a terrific spot to watch the numerous launches out of space City when in the area.
Didn’t know there was another National Park within driving distance from Daytona Beach and drove South to the Canaveral National Seashore. It was an interesting park but the beaches were simply breathtaking. Almost serene and untouched by man. Also, one of the signs said we may encounter some nude bathers and we did. If you bring kids just be prepared to see some naked people. All in all, a beautiful beach location in Florida!
Only a few fishermen were here today since it was windy and a bit rainy. Still a beautiful walk on a remote beach.
This is pure paradise! The secluded beaches and freedom to tan in the nude is amazing. The water is so clear and pretty on the right days. Just bewear of some unfriendly jellyfish and sharks. Just wish there was better parking at ramp 5.
