Went for breakfast, eggs were too simple, no seasoning, just simply fried. However, it comes with dips and bread. Almost all the dishes come with the same salad cucumbers and tomato. Moreover, we were waiting for a waitress come to the table for a while, it was busy, but at that moment she was staying and chatting. Tables stay so close that even hard to squeeze inside of the box.

The hummus with mushrooms was really good here. Fun vibes and nice service. Pretty authentic Israeli food. Recommend if you’re in the area! They only served wine and beer so keep that in mind.

Went here to eat with my girlfriend at the Mcdougal location and the service was absolutely horrific. I understand the establishment was busy but courtesy goes along way. 1. We sat down, waitress took our order, waited and waited for our glasses of water and wine glasses only to see the couple who had sat down next to us maybe 5 minutes afterwards receive their wine glasses first. Asked the hostess, (because our waitress just kept ignoring us )if she could look into our drinks Order and she pointed to the waitress who kept zooming by without an “I’m sorry, I’ll be right back or “let me check on that for you” it was as if she tried to avoid eye contact all together. She finally comes and slams the cups of water down. This was our first time at the eatery and given the great reviews, we thought we would have a great experience. Once we received our wine glasses and our appetizer, we thought we were in the clear without further issues but not exactly the case. We have our meal and it’s delicious, except the potato chips were soggy in oil. 2. Our bill comes and an item we never ordered was added to the bill, again I understand it’s busy and given the current environment with outdoor dining, things may be a little more hectic but you have to do better. Item was removed and I wouldn’t otherwise have mentioned if service was better but everything sucked. 3. Music was blasting which is fine if you’re not sitting directly in front of it and don’t intend of having a conversation. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Update 8.8.20 - Went back for a second visit. Just as impressed as the first time. Loved our travels to Israel, and you get a great taste of Tel Aviv at 12 Chairs. Loved it. But shame on us. We've walked or ridden by any number of times on our way to one of our other faves in Soho. With so much closed right now (July 2020), we gave it a serious look this time. Glad we did. Shame on us, we didn't even know it was Israeli. We love the med cuisine, picked up in our travels to Israel. The menu is true to form. Prices are reasonable. Food is excellent. If you're there for brunch, I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes - crispy outside, fluffy (not gummy) inside. My wife went savory with cauliflower/chicken dish that was also excellent. Their outdoor set-up is very nice and efficient - not just tables thrown out under a tent. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend 12 Chairs. Will definitely be back

Amazing brunch. I came especially for the Shakshuka and it did not disappoint. My sister got the eggs siniya, which was also delicious. Both dishes came with a good cucumber tomato salad and bread. We will definitely come back again.
