It's difficult to find much of a reason to dislike Golden Gate Park. There's so much going on all the time, and the park is beautiful. It's a great place for running or going on a leisurely walk. I've also had kickball games here, frisbee games, cookouts, and fundraising events. There are a few nice museums in the park too (De Young and Cal Academy of Sciences). Great place to hang out on the weekend, or to get together with a group of friends. One of the true gems of New York.
like
many different trees and variatys of flowers. ..cozy wooden benches and ponds.out of the way niches.very nice.
Great community meeting place and the Puerto Rican bohemian music a plus! !
The history of this city is also the history of local community gardens. There are hundreds in NY and this one is particularly pretty. Go the Museum of reclaimed space (just in front) for a very educational historical tour of this area. It will be a unique experience.
Very nice place. AWSOME.
