I am sorry but what they sell here are NOT bagels, at least in my book. And cash only is not okay. We bought nova that is 50 dollars per pound from Russ and Daughters to make sandwiches, if only the “bagels” they sell here had been good, sandwiches would have turned out better. We couldn’t go to H&H only because they close early. :/

Probably the best that I have ever tasted. Still a long line in 26 degree weather but very fresh and very tasty. All cash - no credit cards. I'd like to find a time when they do not have a line to the corner. They do move the line quickly.
Best bagels I have ever had! Definitely worth the wait and premium. They only take cash here.
The most delicious bagels I've ever eaten in my life. Because of Covid-19 I had to leave New York too soon but I still think about these bagels most days. My favourite was the everything with garlic and chive cream cheese. Also loved scallion cream cheese and the lox and cream cheese. Pumpernickel and egg bagels are really yummy too if you feel like changing it up. Definitely worth grabbing a hot coffee and sitting in the shop to enjoy your bagel. Staff are lovely and have put together a great operation. Thank you Absolute Bagels, can't wait to come back.
The best bagel place in the neighborhood if not the city. Always a line on weekends, even when it’s 23 degrees outside! But the line moves relatively fast. Cash only.
