Good spot for lunch if you're around Penn Station (unfortunately). Makes the commute on a snowy day that much better with a warm bowl of ramen. Courteous staff and decent prices.

I love ramen and at Ajisen Ramen I got an excellent ramen. Also the starters were excellent, Highly recommended.

I tried a lot of ramen in New York, but the ramen in this restaurant was the best! Also the fried calamaries were amazing! Large portions and incredibly delicious! Black tea with milk was also very tasty and rich, which, as it turned out, they brewed on natural leaves. Our server, Michael, was great! He was incredibly nice and informative, he knew the menu and the ingredients, and how everything was prepared, which we really liked. We were very tired, but thanks to this restaurant we had a great mood for the rest of the day. We will definitely be back!

If you want some amazing ramen, you need to go to Ajisen. I have been here a total of 10 times, I've been to the location in China town once (so 11 total) but sometime about this one just does it for me. The pork buns are delicious, the bowls of ramen are huge and flavorful. If you want to get a little buzzed try the Saki, it's strong but good. The service is great and fast, the vibe and music is great. I always find myself singing along or doing a little dance while I eat. Literally one of my favorite places.
