Wheelchair-accessible entrance
I was referred here by Mainchance because they weren’t handicapped accessible. When I came here and rang the bell, a rather cold and emotionless drone of a woman answered and told me “don’t come near me” when I turned towards her after she opened the opposite door. I told her I was seeking a place to sleep for a few hours, and she flatly and coldly told me they couldn’t accommodate me. She didn’t offer any empathy or sorry, or an alternative place to try. No way to treat somebody in a wheelchair simply trying not to freeze to death on a cold night. I ended up sleeping on the sidewalk outside of the center. At least if I had died there they’d see the consequence of their choice.

This place saved my life Excellent place . I would definitely suggest it.
I loved working with the clients there, They made me love to cook again...i miss them a little, They were like my kids...
It's a good drop in if main chance is full. Bring a blanket or sweater this place is freezing cold. You can take a shower if the dryer is working and there are clean towels. The shower rooms are kept clean. This place is a hood option if you are in town for a day or two and don’t want to pay for a hotel and need a shower and somewhere to be for a few hours. This is also a good option for anyone who doesn’t want to put them selves in serious danger by going to a. city shelter.
It's not for the weak
