Was looking for sushi grade tuna and found Aqua star in my search. They had a huge selection of all types of seafood. I got the tuna and my bf got frozen king crab legs. I saw this guy there hanging out. The staff were also very helpful. Will definitely go back!!!

Saw reviews this was one of the top rated fish markets in NYC. Went to get lobster tails- first of all complete rip off because they weigh them frozen. The tails were tasteless and disappointing to say the least. Likewise it smells in here- yes I understand fish smells but in comparison to other fish places I’ve been none had such a strong odor.
Soo good I inhaled my food. I didn't even get a picture. I had the Aqua Best sauce and fries. Sound simple but...Aqua Best the was Sooo good! Aqua Best I'm a fan and will be returning sooner than later.
Was amazing Went her because of a YouTube video, Steven was there and he was very helpful. So was the guy in the red shirt lol Forgot his name. My new spot. Oh yeah I got king crabs, whiting and porgy.
The absolute best seafood store in NYC! Everyone is so kind and super knowledgeable. Every time I go in I have tons of questions and they always have the answers. Wonderful store!
