We went back to Arco, long a family-run local favorite, shortly after indoor dining was allowed again. It was great as always — food, service, atmosphere — and reassuring with all the safety measures in place, including distanced tables. Can’t beat the fresh pasta, spun out right there in the front window, and the handmade sauces. Try the Brussels sprout salad to go along. NYC is coming back.

The gnocchi alla montanara is THE BEST gnocchi in the city. Really wish the service would improve to match the quality of the food. Edit: I recently went back for dinner and was impressed by the great service!
