The first project of Argentine Chef Fernando Navas (Samba Brands Management, elBulli, Nobu), Balvanera represents the cuisine and spirit of Buenos Aires - porteña cuisine with influences from the dynamic regions of Argentina. The menu, from inspired and traditional small plates and composed vegetable dishes to signature carnes and friends&family style platos is a journey from Fernando's upbringing in Punta Alta through his time working in great kitchens in Barcelona, Miami and New York City. The wine list has been developed in collaboration with Argentine Sommelier Sebastian Koncurat Urondo. The program showcases a noteworthy selection of new world wines (primarily Argentine/South American), some old world gems and a particular selection of beer.

One of the best Ribeye steaks I have ever had. Their dessert and side dish options are very limited but overall I had a great experience

Went at 1:30 on a Saturday for brunch. Make sure to make reservations as the place is small and was packed. However, the service was phenomenal and our waiter was very attentive. Used the Pulsd deal for brunch and would highly recommend if you’re satisfied with 2 drinks per person. Drinks were DELIGHTFUL and STRONG. Would recommend the spritz and the sangria which were both generous. Definitely would go again.

Great place these days to get ingredients to cook at home. Love their steaks and sausages, but don't miss out on their canned and premade stuff either. I've been eating the quince with vanilla ice cream and it's amazing!

Absolutely love this restaurant! Google shows as if they don’t have a dine-in option, but they do. Went for brunch and both service and food was amazing!

Great brunch food and good staff attitude. Well priced. I was quite gladly surprised. I would go back. Meats were very tasty. About 16 - 18 for a dish with a nice piece of meat is great for brunch. Only miss: no espresso :)
