The customer service here is wonderful I'm always greeted with a smile and warm wishes. I usually go with an everything bagel and lox spread. other times I might get a cinnamon raisin bagel with walnut. I recommend this place to my friends when they come to my area. You will not be disappointed. Update today I went and had the recession special and omg it was the best thing ever. So amazing.
I ordered a lox cream cheese spread on an onion and garlic bagel. Delicious. It hit the spot. Located right on 116th Street near Malcolm X Blvd close to the 2, 3, C and B.
Excellent bagels and bagel choices. I had smoked salmon bagel sandwich, it was delicious! Friendly service. Thank you, will be back to try the Jive Turkey!
The bagels were perfectly soft on the inside with a tough outside. The smoked salmon was delicious and very fresh. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were visiting from out of town and they helped us by telling us what we could do to keep our baker's dozen fresh once we got home (it's almost a 9 hour drive). We also bought some lox cream cheese to take home. One of the things Iliked the most would be watching them make the bagels. I've never seen that and thought it was fun to see and know they were super fresh! This place was also very clean. I think the only \complaint\ I would have is not having a public restroom. However, I've also realized that not too many restaurants do. I think I understand why, but it's tough when you have kids that have to go and you can't find something - especially when you're a customer. Overall, a great little place to eat some good breakfast at a decent price! Thank you!
