Love the food, such a friendly staff, and it's right across the street. Love going there when I don't feel like cooking and I want a nice burger or chicken sandwich.

So, here's the thing with this place. Their chicken is great. It's cooked very well, super tasty, and there are no issues there. They even use a good oil (not the commonly used soybean oil). Service is also excellent. And, I love how you can see them preparing what you ordered. Unfortunately, their sides just aren't good at all. The fries are frozen, the mashed potatoes is worse than the boxed ones, and after those two fails, I don't want to try any of their other sides. Oh, and they only take cash. Also, there is no seating, so you have to order the chicken and go find somewhere else to eat it before it gets cold. :-/ ...yet, come to think of it, that chicken is still pretty good cold too. :)
Great place. One of the few chicken spots in L.ES. the guys are quick and the orders are almost always perfectly made(once or twice they forgot an item) Prices are decent. Best bet is to call and place your order and then pick it up. Cash only!
This is a long standing local fried chicken shop. I had wanted to explore and try some chicken other than from major chains, hoping it will help support small shops, only to regret it as it was a waste of my money and food. Dry chicken, overly cooked, i doubt the oil used to fry the food is even edible anymore, likely to have been reused a gazillion times. Purchasing 4 pieces only yielded me one edible piece, being a drumstick, the other 3 thigh pieces were akin to eating cardboard sandwiched between wood, as the color of the ill prepared food had suggested. The guy comes off very nice and welcoming, but there is no way his greeting can make up for the inedible food I had to throw away.
