I am Canadian who moved to New York recently. I sent my work permit application from Charlie's Neighborhood Postal & Shipping Center on November 2020 and the day after I noticed there was a missing document. Then I called Charlie's Neighborhood Postal & Shipping Center and asked them politely to cancel the shipping, but surprisingly he refused doing that. Although I told him that the envelope was a governmental document and the missing documents will delay my work permit for several months I also told them that I would pay all the related cost, they refused to cancel the delivery. Once I saw the conversation will end no-where I asked the guy to transfer me to his manager, he said: I am the owner, O-W-N-E-R, I CAN do this but I DON’T want to. This guy is the worst and the most rude business owner I’ve ever seen. A terrible arrogant person who doesn’t have an appropriate understanding of a private business. I did not want to write a bad review but because it affected my life terribly, I decided to do. I would give negative point if there was an option. NEVER GO to Charlie's Neighborhood Postal & Shipping Center. UPDATE: This man is a BIG LAIER. The item was not delivered at that moment also cancelation was an option as per FedEx policy. FedEx told me they can stop the delivery but the only way to cancel the delivery is to get the cancelation request from Neighborhood postal office and the owner refused doing that. BTW, it seems this office is not following fully FedEx policies and I am following up with FedEx and they will hear soon. Yes, I made mistake by missing a document and I could fixe it if Charlie's Neighborhood had a responsible and a professional owner. But my biggest mistake was Choosing Chalie's Neigborhood Postal and If I knew this is private office with 3.3 Stars, I would never walk in. I got my lesson and that is why I am sharing my terrible experience here to make people aware of that. Good luck.

I’ve been here twice and the owner is SO RUDE. Both times I went in he was incredibly obnoxious to me and clearly has no idea how to treat customers. This place is right down the block from me and when I need to ship something I walk 8 blocks to the next closest store just to avoid this guy. I see he responded on bad reviews that they are false and that these people were never his customers, trust me...the reviews are true and they were definitely his customers. Such a rude and nasty little man.

Be warned when you buy a prepaid express FEDEX envelope for Albanian Passport. They will charge you 35. The normal price from a FEDEX office is no more than 10.
