I'm actually a courier and I witnessed the chef go to the bathroom and not wash their hands! During this time you'd think cleanliness is a big factor with food handling.

I ordered two dishes here with African dish out and it was ready very fast and the chef was nice when I called to change and adjust my order. I had dibin couscous and achieke for the next day because it's gluten free and good for you when taking a break from rice. And most importantly the delivery was not on African time and got there fast lol. I waited 5 hours before at one in Brooklyn while the man said to me \woman you have to wait for all the deliveries to b ready at the same time to get yours\ when called after an HR if not getting my food henw I was first to order.lol Ridiculous. So I appreciated this fast delivery as I ordered. Awesome.

Ordered off seamless, waited almost two hours then called and they said my food is just sitting there because there’s no seamless delivery person to deliver it and he didn’t want to send his own instead. He refused to give a refund despite this. I call seamless and the restaurant says that they’ll deliver it, only to find that they never planned to and decided three hours later that they wanted ME TO PICK UP. For three hours they refused to deliver my food or give me a refund on simple spring rolls. Very annoying.

The service was absolutely horrible. I do not recommend. Upon eating at this restaurant with a friend, I found 2 pieces of hair in my food (I’d ordered the Senegalese Dibi Chicken). I asked the server to replace my meal, she got who I presume to be the restaurant owner from the back. He came to my table and accused me of lying about the hair, wagged his finger our in faces and proceeded to scream and shout saying “You people always do this. You people don’t want to pay so you do this.” I replied saying I had no problem paying for the food I would not however pay for food that I found two hairs in while I was eating. As I stood, he pushed me back down into my seat and locked the front door saying I would not leave the restaurant until I had paid. I proceeded to call the police who took about 25-30 minutes to arrive. After holding is in the store for 20 minutes, one of his servers unlocked the door and 5 minutes later, I received a phone call back because the police had arrived. We explained the dispute to the officers and the officers explained to the owner that he is under no circumstances allowed to lock patrons in his store. Nothing further could be done since he hadn’t harmed us or brandished a weapon. Stay. Away.
