Without a doubt, the best experience I could have hoped for. I called Georgia at Class Carpet for a rush job - removing old carpet and refinishing the floors in my new apartment. My husband and I wanted to get everything done before we moved in; we had a three-day window. Of all the businesses I called, only Georgia was able to to quote a reasonable price and assure me that the work could be done on time. More than that, she was helpful, friendly, and she didn't have that awful chauvinist / \I know more than you\ attitude that I encountered everywhere else. The men who did the actual work were awesome too, and my floors are absolutely lovely!

Class Carpet made drapes that also block out excess sunlight in the morning. They are well-made and hang beautifully. The installation was prompt and efficient. Georgia helped us pick just the right fabric. We are very happy.
this is a small local company.My experience over the year has always been a pleasant one. Quality carpets and good wall to wall installations. They always make sure that even in difficult situations ( NYC apt layouts and conditions)they leave with everything looking great. They follow up,as at times a carpet installation can settle and might need adjusting.. they did for a friend,and now several years later it still looks great. always good advice re what is best for a given situation.I recently needed a perfect carpet liner for my carpet, which had to be in place prior to the arrival of the movers.They made it happen even so I had ordered it kind of late.Can highly recommend this company.
I can't recommend Class Carpet on W. 86th Street highly enough. The place is small but the selection and staff are excellent. Georgia and Robert listened well helped us find exactly what we were looking for. The installers did a fine job and we couldn't be happier with the carpet and the experience.
These folks were great. Advice on style of carpet needed, useful info on the quality of the product, and delivery prompt and efficient.
