Update as of March 2019: NYCDA is officially closed. / Previous review in 2018: You'd think with only two suites, how could anyone possible work in maybe an overcrowded space. I was wrong because it's a fun, exciting, yet intimate place and experience to work individually or with groups. You can stay as late as you want or be as early as you want. It's a great quirky place to work on your projects and to learn. I'm currently a student at their full time software engineering intensive program from April - July 2018. I highly recommend inquiring about their programs. They help those who really want to be in the tech industry but don't have the money for the cost of education.

Great learning environment complimented by great support from students and staff! Attending the New York Code Design Academy was one of the best choices I made on my journey to become a developer. Not only did they help kick start my career in web development but the welcoming environment keeps bringing me back and I always end up learning something new from my peers and the amazing instructors that they have here.
You learn a lot in such a short time. Relatively inexpensive compared to other bootcamps too. One of the distinguishing factors of this bootcamp is that the community here is very friendly and always willing to help you.
I'm often surprised by how flimsy some of these bootcamps' own corporate websites are; case in point, NYCDA's backend phone interview scheduling system which hasn't been programmed to take Federal Holidays into account...really makes you wonder about the quality of the education on offer!
Don't Miss this Opportunity, I high recommend this school for who want to be a developer, They really work with me to be have understanding how to work to be a developer, good network, good lecturers, good platform to be. I am here and i really have good team work.
NYCDA ignited my career in the tech industry. Before coming in I had no experience at all in coding other than two weeks of self teaching myself the basics of the new IOS programming language. I was sure about what I wanted, I wanted to code and I was not going to let anything get in my way. I searched online for a coding school and came across The New York Code Design academy’s website, after reading the stories of their students and checking out the amazing work that they had done in class I had to chose NYCDA to help me learn coding. I took the IOS Development course which was for beginners. What I loved most about the class was that it was small, this was great because the teacher would help anyone who needed help. I learned a lot throughout the 8 week course and got everything that I expected. I will be uploading my first simple app to the apple app store in a week thanks to NYCDA. NYCDA gave me that push that I needed, I still have a lot to learn but I feel like I could teach myself IOS and pick up everything quickly and implement it into my apps. START NOW! Chose The New York Code Design Academy to teach you how to code.
Wonderful learning environment
