One of my favorite places to go in the city to take a breather and also pick up any records that I likely wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else in NYC. Essential, healing outpost.
What a great shop. Not just dance stuff as others have said, but a great selection of ambient, left field and general \out there\ music. And well priced.
Best record shop in NYC for contemporary club music of all sorts. A true community CENTER too. Grateful for all the work these folks put in to provide a home and common ground for the NY dance community.
Really nice record store. Definitely the place to go if you're looking to discover great new music that you might have overlooked otherwise. The atmosphere is also very nice and their turntable listening station is probably one of the best I've used at a record store in the city -- although there is only one you can use. There's also apparel/home goods but I think the music is the main pull here!
