Great place to go when you need a little extra help. No shame or judgement here. The process was pretty simple, go on their website to see the documents you need to bring, how much you make does not matter, they don't turn anyone away. After you go to the office and sign up they give you a card, don't lose it. You can order your pantry items online and pick them up on your designated day. The pick up process can be a little chaotic, but for a free pantry this is the most organized I've seen. Food quality is good
The New York Common Pantry offers a wonderful service providing food and meals to people who financially challenged to provide food to their families. A group of New York Genpact staff @genpactcares volunteered packing food packages to clients at the Pantry.
Well, I only gave the two stars for the two nice ladies I met there. The food is spoiled but the drinks are collectable. So still, thanks.
