I recently consulted with Mary to discuss options for our Kindergartener. The process of filtering through the school options in NYC is daunting! Mary asked great questions to uncover what our priorities and preferences are for our daughter’s education and she recommended a few appropriate schools for us to do further research. She is a wealth of knowledge in terms of the schools in NYC and the admission process. Evolved will surely hear from us again as we go through this process for our oldest and again with our youngest as schools aren’t a “one size fits all”.

Evolved has been a great partner to our child's learning! Their whole-child approach takes a view of all the aspects that may impact his self-advocacy, confidence, and skills. Mary was responsive, thoughtful, and accommodating from first outreach, to learning plan development, to selecting the right tutor, to ongoing support. Our tutor has made a point to not just know our son, but our whole family. Her encouragement and recognition of his accomplishments gives him pride in the gains he's made. She has also made the time to coordinate with his in-school teaching team, which not only provides consistency for our son, but also prevents any \game of telephone\ with the parent in the middle. EEC is a wonderful resource for parents. My two children have benefited tremendously from the guidance Mary Miele provides and the support received from their tutors Christina and Paige. I get valuable insight about my children’s learning profile with post lesson recaps and areas where my kids need support. I have seen improvement in both of my children’s grades, test scores and confidence. I would highly recommend EEC to any parent!
I started working with Mary in 6th grade for the ERB, and continued to use her company until I took the SAT in 12th grade. Mary helped me get both my SSAT and my SAT score up significantly. She taught me study tips and tricks I still use to this day. My reading comprehension score went up 100 points on the SAT under her teaching. I know I wouldn't be where I am today without her.
