Fantastic market with great variety, from everyday staple items to the hard to find exotic (think apples to rambutans). The famous oil sampling station is always a favorite, the cold room must be experienced and the dried fruit selection has to be seen to be believed. Fairway also donates a portion of their sales to schools through their Community Partners program, a very generous offering. Ample parking is a huge plus. Highly recommended!

This was the best supermarket in the area. With great selection of beers, olive oil, cheese. I hope someone will take over the spot to open a new one, it was very convenieny to stop by righ after work with the fabulous parking which is a super rare luxury in the city
The only place in the neighborhood where you can get fresh meat and seafood. Love the cold room and dairy sections. Really don’t want this market to close.
I love love love the Fairway here in Harlem....however since the announcement the store is closing it lost some of its appeal, the staff who always was helpful and friendly seemed too busy to assist, don't seem to care when you are seeking items. To be out of spices, especially black pepper which should be in abundance for over two weeks seems a bit irresponsible, or cooking spray, ketchup, even soap or body wash..... I just don't understand. Don't give up fight for the business !!
Wonderful to shop at one of my favorite stores. Was shocked to discover going out of business (West 128th Street location in Harlem). My heart is saddened. Concerned about staff, always helpful in that store. Harlem Market purchased it. Other Fairway markets are open. This store is/was the Flagship.
My goto for my groceries with great selection of fresh organic produce. For the quickest checkout, download their app and scan as you go. No more waiting hours in line to checkout! The best thing I ever did.
I loved all Fairway markets. Will be sad to see them go. As of 7/17/2020 this store's shelves are about 70% empty. I still found ice cream, stuffed shells, boxes of pasta, curry sauces, wasabi...
This is a great place to buy fresh meat and produce. They also have a wide variety of gluten free and "healthy" alternatives. I personally would recommend their selection of cheese and charcuterie.
