Evan is an awesome instructor! I’ve been a member at a variety of country clubs around the city & have taken countless lessons. He has done more for my golf swing in 6 months than local club pros have done in 10 years! I’m a mid single digit handicap and came to Evan with a shank problem. Ouch! Instead of trying to slap a bandaid on the problem we worked together to solve the major issues. I’d been struggling with getting the club too flat at the top of my backswing and thrusting my hips towards the ball on the downswing. Evan takes video of my swing during each lesson and is able to point out my flaws as we go along. Happy to say I’m striking the center of the club face now and I am much happier. If you’re looking to really improve and understand your swing Evan is the right instructor for you. The teaching rooms are also massive about 20x30 ft and private, which is great. I feel very safe during the 1-1 Instruction setting and have zero worries when it comes to covid safety. It’s like I’m going over to a friends place to have a beer!

My New Years' Resolution was to take improve my golf game. I've taken a lesson with Evan every week in 2020 and his instruction is seriously improving my swing! He's an amazing instructor with tons of patience and has different approaches to solving an issue -- definitely not someone who only has one way of fixing something. I can't wait to get out to play this Spring! Highly recommend Evan!
Talk about a 5 star golf lesson. Evan Cather is the most knowledgeable golf instructor that I have come across and being a golf instructor myself, that’s been quite a few. He answers any questions you may have and doesn’t stop until you work out your kinks. He’s a very hardworking individual and it shows. I highly recommend you take a lesson from him. You won’t regret it!
I’ve known Evan Cather for a while. His work ethic to improving people’s games is second to none whether it is online or in person. He has helped me from Florida or NYC while I am located in Chicago. I always appreciate his help and knowledge about the golf swing. He always works with you in finding a solution to get you better.
Evan Cather is by far the most competent Golf instructor I’ve ever worked with. His ability to breakdown and communicate each part of the golf swing is unmatched. His brutal honesty has only given me the incentive to work harder on improving my game. My scores have significantly dropped in the year that we’ve worked together.
