I applaud your employees for walking out. Woody Allen’s memoir should not be a thing. Edit: Thank you for listening to your employees!

The office is quite a looker just by seeing all the bestsellers welcoming everyone into the office. Being on the fourth floor also gives it great views if the city. The visitor space is quite comfy with neatly designed couches and the people are really friendly.
Stay away. I'm desperately looking for a publisher for my second novella, but I would never use this company. One of the senior employees assisted me with a book I wrote in my area of specialty as a legal consultant and this individual at Hachette missed deadline after deadline after deadline, a previous assignment was incomplete, and I finally had to give a \letter of demand\ from an attorney for the individual to finish the job. I repeatedly texted this individual in an effort to understand the total lack of work ethic or responsibility - and the harm that I suffered as a result. The bottom line is that he simply did not care. One excuse was a chipped tooth—believe it or not. This was a relatively simple project requiring probably half a day or one day of work at the most. It was a year of horrible frustration, missed deadlines, and maddening waste of time. Or, another possibility I suppose is because I am not a big name writer (though I have a successful consulting practice) that I did not warrant full attention. If this individual is any reflection of the work by other editors at this company I would definitely look elsewhere. Stay away.
