During Ramadan, Iftar time. Sense of community is wonderful
It’s located in the Global Center for Academic & Spiritual Life at 238 Thomson St which also houses the Catholic Center at NYU. Visitors need to register at the lobby and provide a photo ID. The prayer room is at level 4. Not sure if it’s also accessible via the Kimmel Center at 60 Washington Square South. We had already come in via Thomson St so didn’t try to exit a different way. There is no sign for the qiblat so unless you’re joining a jama’ah, then you need to ask someone or use a prayer app.
