Dream omakase! We savored every bite and each course was mind blowing, fresh, delicate and a flavorful textural sensation, enhanced by fantastic professional service - kudos to Bjorn and everyone else... our evening was perfect. We followed you throughout the pandemic and you topped our expectations, Thank you Kissaki!!

Perhaps the most impressive “outdoor dining” build-outs I’ve seen but our 140 omakase had worse rice than a grocery store and questionable flavorings (think a large dollop of curry mustard on a sweet shrimp). The fish tasted fresh but it was cut hastily and the rice was nearly inedible. It took 20 minutes for the host to ready our table after the reservation and drinks were frequently delayed or missing. It was the day after the first snowstorm and day 4 of indoor dining being closed but if they can’t make a quality product for a 500 meal, they shouldn’t be serving. Very disappointed for my first time trying it.

Had a wonderful time at this place. Their nigiri pieces are generously portioned to the point where they could each be two full bites. I thought some of the pieces could be better seasoned. For example, their otoro with uni was amazing but it could've been even better if some more saltiness was added to bring out the flavor. Besides that, all the pieces were top quality with some very interesting flavors. Most pieces had some garnish that enhanced the flavor or combined with something that added another dimension. Their ebi piece was the most memorable with its curry paste. It was a bit difficult to hear what the sushi chef was telling you about each piece because of the COVID glass panel that separates the customers from the chefs at the bar. But that is obviously temporary. The ambiance at the place was nice and relaxed. What I didn't love was that they don't have a double-door entrance so on a cold night, the cold draft easily blows in, chilling the entire place. Overall, it's a place worth visiting. I might give it another try but maybe on a warmer day :P

Amazing place. The experience, the ambiance, service, food was excellent. Highlights: for my wife was the scallop, for me was fatty tuna. The chef was great, engaging, and very friendly. Highly recommend and we are Definitely coming back.

This place is a hidden gem- amazing staff, insane sushi and great, innovative cocktails. I was blown away by every dish- the quality and serene minimalist atmosphere make it the perfect spot for any foodie, date or friend meetup.

Dining in at Kissaki was a delight, went for the Omakase Bar Experience. The staff and chefs are super friendly and very informative on their products and offerings. Fish and seafood was of a great quality and tasted quite fresh. Highlights of the meal were the Chutoro, sea urchin, shrimp and scallops; these selections were all on point. Kissaki is in no way your traditional omakase spot, they offer very contemporary fusion take on sushi which isn't bad but for the purist of omakase meals it isn't what you would quite expect. All in all it was a pleasant and good meal. I would recommend anyone to give this place a try.

Great service. Excellent service by our waiter. Sushi not so good. The Hokkaido sushi tasted the same as the Santa Barbara sushi. It wasn’t fresh sushi. Food was below average.
