Well if you order during peak season like Christmas I think the fulfillment suffers. A mail order biz needs to have a good packaging solution. The gifts i sent did not survive shipping. But they were quick to make it right which is admirable.

This is one of my favorite places for the chocolate shopping. They do have very interesting variety of unique flavors for their chocolate masterpieces as well as macaroons. But what is really must have in this place is hot chocolate. But please be warned, after you would try it, you won't be able to drink any other hot chocolate and you would be craving more of it.
Love love love! It's my best guarded secret in New York City especially in the winter. I love everything about this place - the chocolate options, the truffles! Oh my god the truffles are delightful! The dark hot chocolate is my favorite - it's super thick, gooey and yummy! It's quite heavy so I usually don't have lunch before or dinner after. But it's so worth it! I cannot wait to visit La Maison Du Chocolat again!
